Lavedia Porter resides in the state of Maryland, however, she is a proud native of Brooklyn New York. As a mother of one amazing son and grandmother of two beautiful girls, Lavedia developed a passion for baking during a trying time in her life. Baking became a therapeutic safe place; providing much needed peace within .
After taking over as the family baker, Lavedia's cakes and treats have been the highlight of each party and family gathering they attend. The comfort of baking and the smiles that it brings, fills her heart with joy.
Lavedia will always be a Brooklyn girl at heart and believes,

My Porter Cakes is committed to keeping our customers informed during this trying time in our country. The health and safety of our customers are our number one priority, so we are taking the necessary steps to keep us all safe.
Our team wear masks and gloves, disinfect their work stations throughout the day and work at least six feet apart from one another whenever possible.
To ensure that your orders are handled as safely as possible, we are offering no-contact delivery within 15 miles for an extra fee and limiting contact as much as possible when picking up an order.
